[FACTION MANAGEMENT] RP RULES
Dear Law Enforcement Agencies,
It has come to our attention that several members of this community have been accusing law enforcement officers of "non-roleplay arrests" or "powergaming detains". So we've decided to create this thread to clarify any concerns and answer any enquiries.
All Law-Enforcement Officers (FBI, LSPD etc) are NOT required to ask for a reaction or resistance / roleplay when detaining someone. This means you can /detain someone into your car, without having to roleplay it or doing a /do. The success/ failure system is often abused and quite frankly limits both players. Though, you may not be required to use the success/ failure system whilst detaining, it's still perfectly fine to use it if that's your style. You cannot detain people into bike's unless it's your only option, then it must be roleplayed.
You are NOT required to roleplay frisking, fingerprinting, getting licenses and everything else as long as the suspect is cuffed, tazed, tied or injured, however, if the suspect resists the frisk / detain in an RP manner then you must respond accordingly, failure to do so would be considered Power Gaming and could therefore lead to a prison sentence.
(You must ICly interact with the suspect you are dealing with.)
